Typical matte black glaze and surface treatment.

To join one of our favourite sculptures : Sitting Woman # 2 by Oswald Tieberghien.
This multicoloured "camouflage" glaze is very different from the dark version we had already in our collection.
These multicoloured experiments are quite typical for Tieberghien's early work...

Lutgart De Meyer was one of the 'G58' group of artists that only existed for 3 years.
This work is from her post-G58 period and was made in the late 60's.
Raw white construction , partially glazed inside.(dark blue)
