Early work (1958/1960) by Perignem. Chrome red glaze with subtle sgraffito decor around the neck. Blue on the inside. Perfect condition, signed.

1960's Perignem cylinder vase with pearling glaze.

Hand thrown simple form with spectacular use of Perignem's "Green Doré" glaze.... This 'pearling' bronze glaze has been used by Perignem over many years. This extreme edition of that particular glaze was only used during the 50's and 60's. The later version had less effect due to a change in the recipe. White on the inside. Height ca 45 cm.Perfect condition.

Perignem Sgraffito Vase #2

It's always nice to create groups or, complete series of vases. We've found this flat bottle vase with chrome red glaze and sgraffito decor only a few day's after we've published the flute vase from that same series. Both vases are from the late 50's/early 60's, our favorite Perignem period. At that time the studio was a creative laboratory with many artists working under the guidance of Laurent Vandeweghe.... Amongst them Octave Landuyt, Johan Nyssen and Yves Rhayé. Perfect condition. Diameter ca 27 cm. Height 16 cm.
