Large and heavy umbrella stand or vase with purple glaze.
I've only seen one other piece in this colour before...quite rare and hard to find glaze colour.
Handthrown with typical Amphora carved decor.
Height ca 40 cm.
signed with the impressed Amphora logo on the side.
Mini dish with metallic reduction glaze and strong graphics.
Signed twice with impressed stamps.

We don't use the word 'top' very often, but for this vase it is the right word to use...
One of the most sought-after forms is this elegant flute vase with tulip top.
Handthrown, oxidation firing, blue/brown glaze.
Perfect condition, height ca 55 cm.

Instead of the usual crisp white backgrounds, i manipulated this picture to obtain a 60's/70's feel....
Red chamotte clay, black semi matte glaze and 'eroded' structure.
