"Edy" Buyse worked for Perignem as decorator and graphic designer after the departure of Rogier Vandeweghe. Ca. 1956/1960
This delicate 'fish' design is from the mid-fifties and executed by him.

3 Times Jaak Van De Vijver. Perignem 1950's

3 sculptures created by Jaak van De Vijver for Perignem in the 50's. Van De Vijver worked for Perignem during the early years, and is sometimes forgotten. Nevertheless we really love his work!
The couple was n°1 from the original Perignem catalogue, the sitting woman n°2, and the small woman wasn't catalogued...
Different black metallic glazes, the couple still mounted on the original wooden base.
All in very good condition.

XL Amphora "vessel" Vase by Rogier Vandeweghe 1960's

Stunning large vase with half closed top. This form was first created by Rogier Vandeweghe for the ceramics competition in Faenza (1964) where he won the Gold Medal....
Same as the flute vases with tulip top, this form remained for a long time in the Amphora catalogue...
Metallic black glaze with lavender and mint leaf-details.
In perfect condition, signed with the Amphora shield stamp on the side.
