Teak Plywood Appliques by Philips 1950's

Pair of stunning Philips wall lights. Designer unknown, but presumably designed by or under the art direction of Louis Kalff in his ARTO (artistieke ontwerpgroep) department.
Kalff started working for Philips in Eindhoven after the first world war for about 40 years..After his retirement in 1960 he continued working as adviser.
These lamps are very rare.I have never seen them before.Made of plywood and enameled metal. The frontal shades have plywood on the in & outside, wich results in a warm and soft light.Very well finished and manufactured.
Labeled with a sticker on the backside. In very good condition.Rewired recently.
