New in our collection of 50's ceramics:
Very large vase recently authenticated and signed "Amphora" (with engraving) by Mr. Rogier Vandeweghe. Executed and decorated by himself in 1958 and exposed at gallery "Die Swaene" in Brugge around 1960.This is one from a pair. The second one is part of a private collection in Beernem.....Typical chamotte clay and glazes.White on the inside...
The medium sized vase is by Elisabeth Vandeweghe for Perignem.Very subtle matte & shiny glazes, and we love the "cuts" in the surface...
All in excellent condition.
