Yves Rhayé Multiple : black sculpture by Perignem




This Yves Rhayé sculpture actually has a chrome red glaze, but depending on the baking temperature it turns red or black....or something inbetween.
Chrome red glaze was often used during the 50's and 60's, but it turned out to be very poisonous, as it contains lead chromate and lead oxide...So no longer in use these days...
