Old Glory, Still Shining. Perignem 1958

No need to explain that this Perignem vase, decorated by Hans Heinz Goll is an important piece.
Made in 1958 for the Perignem Art Ceramics Expo at Den Dyver in Brughes, an expo that can be considered as a landmark in the Perignem history.
After the departure of Rogier Vandeweghe around 1956/57 (co owner and art director) his brother Laurent had a difficult time to maintain the studio's production, and even more, to find a new personal style. He had the vision to attract different young artists to work and create freely.
Hans Heinz Goll was one of those artists...
At that point, Perignem became a boiling melting pot of creativity. The first results of this new style were showed at this stunning expo in 1958.
In this particular piece, one can already recognize the typical forms, colors and decorations that will be further developed  in the following 2 decades...

Vase is 102 cm high, in perfect condition and signed.
